The library is following recommended procedures for keeping people safe. For now we are open. We will follow the guidelines coming from the VT Department of Health and the Hardwick Town Manager’s Office. The Town Manager has posted their current guidelines on the Town Website and on Front Porch Forum. Currently, the Jeudevine Library is open and no programs are currently cancelled though this may change. Check our website for cancellations or call the library at 472-5948 or www.jeudevinememoriallibrary.org. Our most important role right now is to provide accurate information from trusted sources and reduce disinformation. Here are the best sites to access:
FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE FOR EVERYONE: IF YOU ARE SICK (with ANY disease) PLEASE STAY AT HOME! If you need something from the library call us at 472-5948 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will try to get materials to you. Our catalog is online. There are also many services that you can access from home including downloadable audio books and eBooks, classes through Universal Class and Ebsco Learning Express. Find out information about these on our website at https://www.jeudevinememoriallibrary.org/services/
Inside the library we are regularly sanitizing surfaces, door knobs, telephones, computers, and other equipment. We have hand sanitizer for public use. We have put away the stuffed animals and some other toys in the youth area. We are all washing our hands and following guidelines. Call us with your questions at 472-5948.
